Lanier Custom Homes and Restoration was founded in 1997 and remains family-owned across three generations. We’re known for communication, craftsmanship, and doing what we say we’ll do.

Lanier Custom Homes & Restoration is a family-owned and operated business built on a foundation of craftsmanship, integrity, and service. Lanier Custom Homes was founded in 1996 by Russell Dye, a proud U.S. Navy veteran, alongside his parents, Ron and Millie Dye, the company has grown into a trusted name in custom home building across North Georgia.
Today, Lanier Custom Homes & Restoration is led by Russell and his wife, Angelia, with their children actively involved—making it a proud third-generation business. Over the years, Russell has built hundreds of homes throughout Lake Lanier and the North Georgia region, earning a reputation for quality construction, attention to detail, and personalized design.
In 2014, Russell expanded operations to Tampa, Florida, where he built custom homes both in the city and along the coast. Following multiple hurricanes in the area, he broadened the company’s services to include water mitigation, restoration, and coastal demolition, helping homeowners recover and rebuild with confidence.
Bringing that experience back to North Georgia, Russell and Angelia now offer comprehensive water restoration services alongside their custom home construction. Lanier Custom Homes & Restoration continues to serve families with dedication, combining decades of building expertise with a commitment to helping clients create—and restore—the places they call home.
